Merging Orders
This FAQ will go over how to merge purchase orders, sales orders, and quotes in Paradigm. Quotes and sales orders that are marked as completed or released cannot be merged into other orders.
Merging Sales Orders & Quotes
To do this, start by going to the sales order that the transaction is going to be merged into. Then click the “Open Quotes” button in the header.
A list of quotes for that customer will appear. Click the check box beside “Display Orders” will show all the open orders as well.
Check the box beside the quotes and orders to merge and click “Add Orders”.
Those transactions will then be marked as complete and the items will be added to the current order.
Merging Purchase Orders
To do this, start by going to the purchase order that the transaction is going to be merged into. Then click the “Open Orders” button in the header.
A list of purchase orders and request for quotes for that vendor will appear.
Check the box beside the purchase orders or RFQs to merge and click “Add Orders”.
Those transactions will then be marked as complete and the items will be added to the current order.
