Production Lines Added to A Bundle

When an order is released with bundles on it, and the bundle is locked in Rollformer Production, all the lines in that bundle will be locked on the order. The production label printed at this time would include the listed items.

Locked Bundle

If an item is added to the bundle after it was originally locked/printed, it can be easy for the added line to get missed in Rollformer Production, since the other lines in that bundle have already been locked/printed.

To combat this, the lock button in Rollformer Production will appear orange if some of the lines in that bundle are not locked, but others are. The unlocked lines will also be highlighted orange:

The user must lock the build again in order to complete it, otherwise they will get this error: Lines may have been added to this bundle after it was locked. Verify that all lines have been completed, then lock and complete this bundle.

Multiple Production Dates

A bundle could be displayed multiple times in the Rollformer Production screen. This issue arises if:

  • The bundle is released and not started by production.
  • Additional lines are added at a later date, after the original Production date has passed.

In this situation, the bundle will appear twice in the Rollformer Production screen, with each row displaying the warning icon and the message “Multiple Production Dates” to notify users of the discrepancy.

Clicking on the warning icon shows a more descriptive error message: This bundle is showing twice because some items have different production dates. This should be addressed before manufacturing.

To resolve this situation, users can change the production dates to align them. This can be done through the build details on the order or by unlocking the “Prod Date” column and ensuring that both dates match. Addressing this discrepancy is essential for maintaining accurate production records and preventing confusion in order fulfillment processes.
