This FAQ will go over the “Remaining DB Space: X.XGB Contact Paragon” header warning in Paradigm ERP.

Remaining DB Space

The warning is shown because the database is nearing a size of 10GB, and it is using SQL Express (free version) which is limited to databases of 10GB or less.

To resolve this an upgrade to SQL Standard (paid version) may be necessary, contact Paragon for more details. Paragon does not resell SQL Standard, work with an IT company and/or a Microsoft certified reseller to see the licensing options.

Options To Reduce The Database Size

The biggest user of database space by far is the audit trail. To reduce this, the amount of time to keep audit trail data can be shortened in company preferences and it will free up some database space for now.
