Cloud Server Set Up

Machine Integrations

If you are using any machine integrations, a VPN tunnel to the local network will be required.

No Machine Integrations

If you are not using any machine integrations, then a URL can be set up that points to the public IP of the Azure server. This URL can be used to log into Paradigm. If Paragon provides the URL, it’ll be [company].para-apps.com, or you can set up your own.

The Pros

• Lower up-front server hardware costs.
• Server offsite and backed up in cloud.
• Quick to set up.
• Minimal/no networking or IT changes required.

The Cons

• Can be slower than a local network.
• Cannot connect if internet connection is down.
• Recurring hosting costs.
