Depreciation

This FAQ will go over how to record depreciation in Paradigm.

Journal Entry

To record depreciation in Paradigm, a journal entry can be used. Debit the depreciation amount to a depreciation account and credit the same amount to an accumulated depreciation account. Once that is done, post the journal entry.

Favorite Transaction

To continue recording depreciation in the future, favorite this journal entry so that it can be duplicated as needed in the future.
