This FAQ will go over how the company preference “Prioritize Exclusive Pricing Level Even If Price Is Greater” works with other discounts.

To enable this, go to System > Company Preferences > Sales > Behavior

When this is enabled, the exclusive pricing level will be used even if the price is greater than the non exclusive level or the retail price.

Promotions

When using promotions on an item that has an exclusive pricing level, the pricing level with override the price set by the promotion.

Customer Discounts

When using customer discounts on a item that has an exclusive pricing level, the customer discount will be used if it is lower than the pricing level discount.

Category Discounts

When using category discounts on a item that has an exclusive pricing level, the category discount will be used if it is lower than the pricing level discount.
