Production: Export Button

The export button is used in Production to send the build info to a machine. This is commonly used with the SWI Marxman integration, more info on that can be found on our website: SWI Marxman Integration.

The export button can be found by right clicking the header in Production, opening column chooser, then selecting “Export” from the column chooser list.

The export button functions as “Lock and Export”. When the it is clicked, the build will be locked and subsequently exported to the machine. Note that the build can also be locked without being marked for export.

If the export button is clicked again, the build will be unlocked and unmarked for export. This also typically triggers the build to be purged from the system to which it was originally exported.
