Open Hem Mapping

Component Mapping

Previously, Paradigm supported the standard mappings for bends, hems, and stretchout. Now, using the new mapping “Open Hem,” users can customize the price of trims by the hem type.

Open hems are treated as a distinct component in the assembly, which gives the ability to set a different cost for open hems. For standard trims, this gives the ability to see how open hems factored into the price of the finished piece. For special trims, it allows open hems to be more expensive, to account for their increased complexity.

Open hems are counted only as an open hem by Trim Draw, not as a regular hem and an open hem.
