Paradigm Print Servers
Paradigm Print Servers allow single click printing from Fulfillment Pro over the network. It does not require any printer drivers to be installed on the workstation running Fulfillment Pro. It also allows different document types to be sent to different printers (i.e. Pick tickets sent to laser printer; Pack labels sent to thermal label printer)
Setup
The basic install process is as follows:
- Run the Print Server installer on the workstation/server that is connected to the printer and will function as the print server.
- During installation, the user will be prompted for the Paradigm server URL.
- In Fulfillment Pro, under settings, the user can then choose the print server and printer that they wish to use for each document type.
- “Force Refresh” for the printers to appear for the first time.
There is no limit to the number of print servers or printers that can be set up. Contact Paragon Computing Solutions for current print server installers and additional setup assistance.
Selecting a Print Server in Fulfillment
To choose a print server in Fulfillment, tap on the settings button. Then go to the “Print Settings” tab and check the box beside “Use Print Servers”. Print servers can then be selected.
